China’s Modern Sky Festival returns to NYC!!!! Come out to Governors Island for a great day of music, food, drinks and fun with 马頔 Ma Di (performing his famous hit song 南山南Nan Shan Nan), 苏阳 Su Yang , 夜叉 YAKSA, Chinese hip hop royalty DJ Wordy, and rising bands The Mystery Lights, Navy Gangs, and Breanna Barbara.
Presenting Partner Xi’an Famous Foods will be serving up delicious eats and drinks; Governors Club’s fully-stocked bar will be offering a special cocktail menu; bubble tea onsite!; Modern Sky Lab makes it’s NYC debut with an onsite pop-up; and more!
The Modern Sky Festival was first produced in Beijing in 2007. Today, the festival is one of 20+ large-scale music festivals produced in cities throughout mainland China by Beijing-based Modern Sky Entertainment.

Governors Island is located in NYC, just off the southern tip of lower Manhattan.
The island is accessible via short ferry ride (< ten minutes), departing every 30 minutes from the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street (near Wall Street)
The ferry is free to all Modern Sky Festival ticket holders!
Ferries run from the Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry in lower Manhattan.

4, 5 to Bowling Green station
R to Whitehall St. station
M1 (weekdays only), M6, M9, and M15
General admission and VIP tickets go on sale at 9:00AM on Monday, July 11th online. Please check the ticket section of this site for more information.
Customers should arrive one hour prior to the show. Customers should bring with them a photo i.d. and order confirmation information.
Gates open at 3PM, the first performance is at 3:30PM
The festival ends at 11:30PM
